Yesterday and today we went walking from home to school. It is a half an hour walk, but we did it in one hour. They have so much fun in the snow.

We had fun with christmas at school, Mara played the sweetest Mary ever and Nino made a beautifull play with his classmates and his squirrel.

One disadvantage of the cold winter, winter blushes at Jente's dry cheeks.

The days and nights are too short. This busy bee is biking like a madman through the city, on my way to school, where a lot of christmas happiness is happening, the kids really needed some new clothes, what costs some extra time with kids with their own opinion, and I'am commuting between home and the skating rink. And the poor Jente is with us all the time. I think she will be very happy with the upcoming holiday, as well!

Plans for the holidays: curling up with my love and kids and creating, a lot of creating!

I know I'am not the first one who is blogging about these stones. I love these stones, amazing how she can give such a rough material this fragile look.

I know, I know, I'am terribly biased! But she is, even with mango and cracottes all over her face, still so pretty and cute!

after 1,5 year...

I feel so happy when I'am walking downstairs, because (finally) we've got a lampshade in the hall! At ours, home renovation comes allways in phases. Once in a while, when I've reached that point of getting so annoyed on the current situation, there has to be work done! This lampshade was one of the things on my list.


The rest of my list:
* paint and hang my "new" lampshades in the kitchen
* Paint the door of the cabinet with chalkboard paint

It was hard to wait 'till yesterday, but I did it! Thanks a lot and I love it! The key chain was taken by Mara immediately, and the rest ( trees, birds and bike) stands next to the railtracks to play with.
